Biography
Dr. Lofwall completed psychiatry residency
training and a behavioral pharmacology research
fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She
currently is an Assistant Professor of
Psychiatry with an adjunct appointment in the
Department of Behavioral Sciences and Center for
Drug and Alcohol Research at the University of
Kentucky. She has an active outpatient
office-based opioid dependence treatment
practice and teaches residents about substance
use disorders. She spends the majority of her
time engaged in clinical research aimed at
improving the treatment of opioid and cocaine
dependence.
